Choose your plan.

Unlimited data.

All our plans comes standard with unlimited data usage. The price of your plan will vary with the speed you choose. Don't worry, you can change your mind if you feel like it. 80Mbps is our most popular plan and suitable for most people.

Modem and WiFi router.

You can either buy a modem from us or bring your own compatible modem. If you use a stand-alone modem without built-in WiFi (this is what we recommend actually, great choice!), you will also need a separate WiFi router to plug into the modem and broadcast WiFi. Modem provides the internet source and WiFi router broadcast internet as WiFi.

Any WiFi router should work and you can buy them from any store, Amazon.ca, Bestbuy. If you are not sure what to get, the AC or AX series routers from TP-Link is a good choice for most people.

2

Receive your modem.

Purchased modem from JUCE.

If you purchased a modem from us when signing up for service, you can expect to receive it typically within 1-3 business days. We usually ship modems the same day or the next day and you receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number when your modem ships.

Bring your own modem.

If you selected to use your own modem, please check to make sure it is a compatible modem. Please email support@juce.ca with a clear photo of the label on your modem showing its modem, S/N and MAC, so we can ensure we use the correct information to activate your modem.

3

Service Activation.

Usually, within 2-4 business days after you sign up online, you will receive an email from us telling you which of the following two activation options:

Self-installation.

This is the quickest option if you qualify and you don't need to wait for a technician appointment. If you receive an email from us telling you that your order qualifies for self-installation, it means the modem has already been activated and the service is ready for use. You just need to find an active cable outlet to connect the modem. If more than one cable outlet is available in your home, sometimes only one of them is active and you may need to use trial and error to find out which cable outlet is active: plug in the modem, and wait about 5 minutes, if first 4 lights on the modem turned solid, it means the modem is online and ready for you to plug in the router; if you only see a power light solid and 2nd light flashing after 5 minutes, it means this cable outlet has no signal and is not active. If you tried all available cable outlets and none of them works, please reach out to support@juce.ca for assistance. We may need to book a technician to install it for you.

After you find the active cable outlet and the modem is online, you can then plug in the WiFi router to the modem and start using the internet. Most TP-Link WiFi routers have the WiFI name and password printed on the bottom, so you don't need to do any setup.

If you get stuck along the way, please contact us for assistance.

Technician Install.

If you receive an email from us telling you that a technician appointment has been booked to install your service, it means that our preliminary checks determined that the cable line connecting your home is not connected and a technician visit is required to connect the line.

This means that none of the cable outlets in your home is active and unfortunately you won't be able to self-install by plugging in the modem yourself.

4

WiFi router.

Modem without built-in WiFi.

Great choice. A separate WiFi router gives you more control and better performance. After you have checked that the modem is online (the first 4 lights are solid), you can connect the WiFi router to the modem. There are two types of WiFi routers: non-mesh (traditional stand-alone) and mesh (typically 2 or 3 identical units forming a mesh). Traditional stand-alone routers are simple to use. For example, most TP-Link AC or AX series routers have the WiFi name and password printed on a sticker. Mesh router systems can cover a larger area by interconnecting multiple units, forming a meshed network. If you live in a large house, you can consider meshed routers such as Amazon Eero.

Modem with built-in WiFi.

You do not need a separate WiFi router. Your modem includes WiFi and you can only use the built-in WiFi on the modem. WiFi name and password can be found on a white sticker on the modem.

5

Simple Billing. Know what to expect.

You only pay for the modem (if you choose to buy one from us) when you sign up online. Your internet billing does not start from when you sign up online. Your billing start date is the service activation date as confirmed in the service activation email.

Thanks to pre-authorized payments, billing is easy. The first month will be billed to your credit card on the service activation date (e.g. first day of your service). The monthly fee will be automatically billed to your credit card every month on the same date.

You are all set.

Welcome to the family! Sit back, relax, enjoy your new internet. Need help? Contact us
